FRENZY TrailWax is the core product of your hot-wax setup. You use it when you want a clean, quiet and efficient drivetrain without repeatedly working with greasy chain oil. By hot-waxing your bicycle chain, dirt sticks less quickly and your drivetrain stays cleaner for longer.
The wax is developed for intensive use on gravel, MTB and road bikes. Especially in dusty, dry or mixed conditions, hot-wax helps keep your chain, cassette and derailleur pulleys cleaner. That makes maintenance easier and your bike more pleasant to ride.
Use FRENZY TrailWax with a fully degreased and dry chain. Combine it with MELTLAB Pro for a fixed home setup or with DIP ’n RIP if you want to wax compactly on the go.
Fully degrease your bicycle chain before hot-waxing for the first time. Melt FRENZY TrailWax in your MELTLAB Pro, DIP ’n RIP or suitable wax melter. Submerge the chain, move it calmly through the wax and then let it drip and cool.
For maintenance, re-wax the chain when it starts to feel drier or louder. Keep your drivetrain dry in between and simply wipe away loose dirt.
